First day back of the New Year and our TAXCHIC is back in Brisbane this week, meeting with eager clients ready for position assessments! Vanessa is also welcoming a new member to the team today, Rebecca. This week is full of business planning, goals setting and implementation for our team and we're super pumped and excited to get into 2018 and all it has to offer! Last year was crazy busy and full of fabulous clients, both new and old who are more like friends and family - thanks to each of you! Following the success of Vanessa's Taxchic Toolbox Sessions mid last year, we even had to close to new business for a period to handle our workload, all the new clients and focus on core business ensuring all our tax work got out before Christmas! We know it's an ambition target but we're all but done and now we can focus heavily on our proactive advice and looking for new ways to save tax and help get your affairs in order. We are all super proud of our efforts and hard work and how much work went out early before December for our clients ensuring they had plenty of notice and time to prepare for their tax bills no matter how large or small. To cope with the fabulous support of the Gundy business community, Vanessa has expanded our Tax Team in our Brisbane Office and we’re excited to have Rebecca Piotto start with us this morning as Senior Accountant. Rebecca is highly experienced, knowledgeable and comes strongly recommended. She loves working with small to medium businesses and is a whiz in the SMSF space too! For those of our Gundy clients who already have the awesome Jacqui as your Tax Manager, never fear... She’ll be back on deck tomorrow morning and nothing will change for you guys - we know, we know... we love Jacqui too! We look forward to sharing some exciting announcements and partnerships in the coaching arena soon! And... We think Vanessa will take on another new business to personally mentor, pro-bono!! Giving back to the community is one of our core values here at HM and Vanessa leads the charge every year providing one lucky business immense support across all business areas!
