Farm Management Grants Available


ATTENTION QUEENSLAND PRIMARY PRODUCERS:

Grants are now available to help offset your Accounting and/or Solicitor fees associated with transferring on and off farm assets through to the next generation.

Farm Management Grants assist eligible Queensland primary producers or their relatives with the costs of professional advice associated with succession planning.

The scheme will close to applications 30 June 2019 with rebates up to 50% of professional advice with a maximum of $2,500 each remaining financial year. This grant has the ability to provide $5,000 towards your Accounting or Legals Professional Services to ensure your assets are passed in the most tax effective manner.

Eligibility To be eligible for a Farm Management Grant, you must: 1. Be a primary producer, or a relative of the primary producer for a primary production enterprise 2. Have paid, or will pay for advice relating to transferring or acquiring an interest in the primary production enterprise from a suitably qualified professional, at or after 23 March 2017

How to apply Applications for Farm Management Grants can be made via the online portal – to apply visit applyonline.qraa.qld.gov.au and remember you're running out of time with only two months left this financial year to claim.
